We envision a world where communicating across multiple languages and visions of the world strengthens grassroots movements for liberation. A world with no language hierarchies where everyone can be heard and understood. A world where members can grow as leaders and organizers and do so entirely in their preferred language as their authentic selves.

Multilingual Movements was founded by two language justice workers with nearly two decades of combined experience as organizers, interpreters and translators with grassroots organizations and coalitions. Our relationship is a testament to the power of language justice to deepen relationships and foster intimacy and community across languages.
